How to provide financial insight and promote your advisory services

Hero_-_Dashboard.pngWith the entire accounting industry looking to ramp up advisory services, you have a head start and competitive advantage on the pack with Spotlight Reporting.  As part of the Spotlight Reporting SuperVCFO toolkit you have free access to Spotlight Dashboards - allowing quick, automated preparation of a visual Dashboard report for clients.

Dashboarding is a quick, cost-effective way to provide simple financial insights whilst also providing a taste of what you can offer as a Trusted Advisor. Now is the the ideal time to let your clients know ‘this is what we do - we are Advisor’s and we’re help to help’. Perhaps include a note or even some marketing collateral promoting your full advisory services for those who might be interested?

At a minimum, sharing a Dashboard means you’ll be providing your non-advisory clients with a useful one page look at their year's performance as a free ‘value-add’.  Most other practices won’t be offering anything new, different or useful.

To get going, with SuperVCFO you can connect all of your Xero and QuickBooks Online clients to Spotlight and start dashboarding! We can help you with our bulk upload service, free of charge - just contact a local Account Manager.

With Dashboard, you can pick your layout from one of 3 easy options.  We recommend the Resilience Dashboard layout for a quick and simple year end dashboard.  Have a junior accountant produce the PDF Dashboard Report for selected non-advisory clients and follow up to kick-start deeper relationships and better ongoing interactions.
