An update from Spotlight Reporting on COVID-19

Written by Richard Francis | 18 Mar 2020

At Spotlight Reporting, our priority is to make sure we're focused on the health, wellbeing, and safety of our people and our customers during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Spotlight Reporting team members in New Zealand, Australia, the UK, and USA are now working from home. We've also deferred any non-essential travel (domestic and international) for the foreseeable future. We’ve also asked our people to disclose any travel plans they have and to consider postponing any trips that have been booked to help enhance safety amongst the community.

Ways we can support you
It’s important that we can be there to support our customers as they ramp up their support to help clients and/or stakeholders. We plan to do this in a number of ways:

  • Continuing to meet, train, and advise customers using our video conferencing service (Zoom).
  • 24/7 access to our Support Desk and Help Centre.
  • Access to Account Managers and Customer Success Specialists.
  • Hosting weekly topical webinars that we will publicise.

Many of our team are used to working from home and online. As we already operate in a digital environment 24/7, we will be maintaining full service without disruption.

Advising clients in troubled times
Our useful resources and advice will be free to all, including a live webinar called 'Advising Clients in Troubled Times'. As a Chartered Accountant who has run an accounting practice during the GFC and other global shocks, I’ll be sharing some helpful suggestions on how to weather the storm.

We’ll also have ‘How to’ power hours with our Product experts, where you can get fast answers on how to use Spotlight Forecasting for building budgets, creating cashflow forecasts, and running scenarios. This will be coming soon.

If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to get in touch with your Account Manager, Customer Success Manager, or by emailing customer@spotlightreporting.com
